The internal adhesive of the heatshrink terminals bonds securely to both the terminal and cable. The combination of crimping, heatshrink and adhesive creates a level of strain relief not achievable with standard terminal types.
The shrink/adhesive combination also produces a seal that prevents water and dust getting into the back of the terminal.

Instructions:
- Select the correct size terminal for your application and crimp as per standard terminals.
- Apply heat. The terminal insulation not only shrinks firmly around the cable but also releases an adhesive to increase the strain relief and creates a waterproof seal.
